My Morning Routine

Morning’s are my favorite part of the day. The world is quiet & it’s the best time to start your entire day on the right foot. There’s a few things I do that really help me make my day productive and fulfilling, so I thought I would share it with ya!

7:00am– Time to wake up! For some reason, 7am is my sweet spot. I feel energized the whole day, I don’t wake up groggy and it helps my anxiety (have no idea why but it does).

7:15am– Make Dan breakfast + coffee time! This is coffee time, so it’s obviously the best part of my morning 😉 Dan has been working long days, so it makes me happy to be able to make him some eggs before he leaves for the day. Sometimes those small things make a big difference when you’re not able to spend a ton of one-on-one time with each other.

7:45am– Pray + Read my bible + Read my devotional. This has been huge for my anxiety and for just having a joyful day! I used to pray in the evenings but by the time the evening rolled around I was already so stressed it was hard to get out of that stressed out state. Praying right when I wake up helps me stay way less stressed throughout the entire day. If you’re looking for a new bible, I love mine! Its the “The Jesus Bible” version and you can shop it here. 8:30am – 9:30am– Post + engage on Instagram. Just in case the day gets away from me, I try to get a good hour of engaging in before I get up and get ready for the day.

9:30am – 10am– Breakfast! Breakfast for me usually consists of a couple eggs + toast, leftovers (I’m weird, I’ll eat anything for breakfast) or Kefir + an apple with nut butter if I’m not super hungry.

10am – 10:40ish– Workout from home! I workout M, W and Friday and have been loving the PopSugar workouts on YouTube. I get bored super easily, so this allows me to do a different workout each day and actually see results! They have videos for everyone too!

10:40am – 11:10am– Put my face on! That’s what my grandma used to call it, so it just stuck 😉 I wanted to share a few of my favorite products with you because I love them! I’m not a beauty blogger by any means, I’m a very practical gal and these are super practical products you can use every day!

Aveeno Lotion- good for your whole body and face. I’ve been using this forever!

Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum- This has been great for the appearance of my skin! I use it in the am and pm.

Mad Hippie Face Cream- This face cream really does moisturize! I use it before I go to bed and wake up with my face still hydrated.

First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer- I’m obsessed with this! It hydrates your face so well and helps your makeup go on smooth. I use every am.

First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads- These exfoliate my sensitive skin and have helped its appearance quite a bit. I use half a pad in the am and the other half in the pm.

Scrunchie- Hey, they’re back! I’ve been using scrunchies over regular hair ties because they’re better for my hair and don’t give me any headaches. & they bring me back to my gymnastics days 😉

  1. Mornings are my favorite time of day. I love starting the day off with meditation and a prayer. Setting a good intention for the day so I can tackle whatever the day throws at me.
